The Detector Protector Package is the complete guide to smoke detector use, maintenance, and instillation for students in 3rd through 6th grade!

In Syndistar’s Detector Protector Video four young people take a trip through their community educating the public on the importance of smoke detectors. The students illustrate how to take care of the detectors, by checking batteries and performing other important maintenance procedures regularly. The Detector Protectors show the different types of smoke detectors and how they are set off. They also talk about the importance of never removing the battery from the detector and the proper placement of these life saving devices.

In addition to the video children receive The Detector Protectors Activity Sheet this fun filled booklet contains games, word searches and other fun activities that help further educate young readers on the importance of smoke detectors. To reinforce the ideas presented in the video and activity sheet, children are also presented with sticker sheets, bags, membership cards and certificates of completing the Detector Protector program.
