The Team Up For Fire Safety Series educates children and adults on the importance of firefighters and how we can work together to prevent fire and remain safe. The series comes with two videos, one geared toward children and one on an adult level. The child’s video, You Can Team Up For Fire Safety For Children, takes young people on a tour of a firehouse showing them all the important aspects of fire prevention and safety. Kids learn not to be afraid of firemen because they are there to help.
In the Team Up For Fire Safety Video For Adults, important home fire prevention tips are given. Such topics as fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are covered in this video, along with the importance of having a safe escape plan.
The pamphlets and activity sheets (K – 2nd and 3rd – 5th) are a great reminder of the lessons taught during the fire prevention program. Students and adults will have a quick reference so they are always safe from the harms of fire. Other support materials such as posters, banners, stickers and removable tattoos, carrying the Team Up For Fire Safety Message, are also available in this series.
