The full-color booklet provides a brief history about smallpox, how to recognize its symptoms, and how it spreads. Though smallpox is incurable, there are treatments available and most people survive infection. The booklet explains that smallpox while it once was a large concern is now considered eradicated. Doctor's are cabable of making the infected patient comfortable yet, there is no known cure for smallpox.
